Black & White portrait of an old man of the Mursi tribe in Ethiopia. His name is Gumunio Kagulo, he lives in the Mursi village Bidiro, and is one of the most respected elders in his village. Like all Mursi people he doesn't know exactly his age, but he is a member of the age set "bari", which usually describes all Mursi people above 50 or 60 years. |
