Nick and I made an attempt to summit Mt. Rainier again, but were unfortunately cut short as he developed a migraine (it is a chronic problem, not an altitude issue). Poor guy had to descend almost 5,000ft with a 40lb pack over icy snow with an excruciating migraine. He is so tough!
But we did have great weather and great views! This sunrise at 10,000ft was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in my life. A moment worth remembering. |
